Over the past few years, 5G has transitioned from being just a concept to having real-world applications, allowing significantly higher data capacities and extremely fast response times. With deployments of 5G infrastructure and 5G enabled devices since late 2019, the number of applications which are dependent on 5G availability is reaching a critical mass. These applications include connected vehicles, autonomous driving, gaming, AR/VR and 4K/8K streaming.
